CLASSIFICATIONS
Adult: 19 years or older Non-Professional
High School: previous school year grades 9 - 12
Middle School: previous school year grades 6 - 8
Grade School: previous school year grades 2 - 5

CATEGORIES

PAINTING: oil, acrylic, watercolor or tempera

DRAWING I: pen, ink, pencil or colored pencil

DRAWING II: charcoal, scratchboard, oil or chalk pastels

COLLAGE: a technique using assemblage of different forms, ie...cut and paste

OTHER MEDIA: a ny media NOT listed. Examples may include but are not limited to: printmaking, jewelry, weaving, bead work, etc.

COMPUTER GENERATED: (Youth 3) any artwork created entirely using a computer program.

GENERAL FINE ARTS RULES
1.] This is an amateur competition. Anyone who receives money or compensation for their work is considered a professional.

2.] Artwork must be original and have been created within the last year.

3.] Maximum 2 entries under a single premium number.

4.] Works will be disqualified if they do not fit the category.

HANGING ARTWORK

ADULT ARTWORK must be framed and ready to hang on PEGBOARD HOOKS. Works will be disqualified if they can not be hung. NO FLAT HANGERS OR STRING AND TAPE WILL BE ALLOWED.

HIGH SCHOOL, MIDDLE SCHOOL AND GRADE SCHOOL ARTWORK must be mounted on construction paper or poster board. With a minimum of a one inch border. No framed works, foam core or canvases will be accepted.
